I have just received an email in response to this article HERE. It is headed “Israeli Fascists” and ends “You are a vile and ignorant man. I’ve had enough of you. And before you accuse me of being a ‘Jew hater’,, two of my oldest long-standing friends are Jewish“. I guess that is another customer lost, another idiot who thinks losing £6.99 will make me shut up. I do not mention Israel in the podcast but discuss Caracal Gold (GCAT), Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and Technology Minerals (TM1) and the two critical differences between the Standard list and the AIM sewer. Then to the utterly dishonest release today from Hydrogen Utopia (HUI), a £24 million slam dunk sell. Oh, and I do discuss Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI).

Only after a huge public outcry has Labour MP Chris Williamson been suspended from the party for suggesting that it had apologised too much on the matter of its own anti-semitism problem. I support free speech. Folks can say whatever they like. But equally I own and run this website and am not compelled to publish anything here on the site or in the comments section below. Two of my daughter's Godparents have very few relatives indeed as a result of Jew haters 70 years ago. My right not to afford a platform to those who accuse "The Jewish army of genocide" in Gaza or who question the victim status of the Jews in the holocaust is not in conflict with my belief in free speech. Jew haters rarely use the word Jew when making their despicable claims and demands. A hundred years ago the word Hebrew was used to describe a Jew. My maternal grandmother, in most ways a terribly progressive and tolerant lady had a blind spot here and would talk of "the chosen people," her words laced with Irony. These days the words Jew and Israeli are often used interchangeably. Since we are told repeatedly how evil Israel is, so too must be the Jews. But the current word to use is Zionist. When a Jew hater refers to a zionist he is not describing someone who supports the state of Israel's right to exist, he is talking about a Jew. And that brings us to yesterday's Al Quds Day march in London.

Maybe it is just a feature of getting older but whenever I read about more or less anything to do with students and politics I find myself thinking that we should bring back National Service is a pre-requisite for those wishing to study for a degree. Of course National Service was something I dodged by about thirty years, but when I was a student only 10% of folks went to university. We were - with a few exceptions - an elite. These days almost half of young folks go to what are, in many cases, laughably called Universities and it seems that large numbers of students are pathetic, idle or stupid or all three.
The leader of Britian's students, Malia Bouattia is a 28 year old perma-student fanatic who has featured here before as a supporter oif ISIS and fanatical Jew hater. The other day she told the world that Tory cuts to higher education (regrettably there have been none) were driving students to join ISIS. She is a barking mad fanatic but the fact that she was elected as head of the National Union of Students shows just how many students live in a parallel universe based on discredited ideas and a sense of entitlement.
Post the Brexit vote, in which only 30% of those between 18 and 25 could be bothered to get of their arse and put a cross in a box, the outpourings of grief from the young people who are "working" their way through the University system have been a hoot.

For the 7th time - the first perhaps for our many new readers - I feel the need to explain what free speech really means. I do this for Chris Oil & other Bulletin Board Morons who seem determined to post comments here stating that I take bribes on a weekly basis and am a crook. And also for the chap who wants to post with great frequency the claim that I am a "sausage jockey." I do not regard that as a smear since I see nothing shameful whatsover about being gay. It just happens that I am not. But it says a lot about our critics that they seem to include a good number of jew haters, homophobes and other assorted bigots.

Anyone can set up a twitter account in minutes. And once on twitter you can shout out to the world what you want. Of course if you call a Police Horse gay, tweet a burning poppy or insult David Cameron the Old Bill might feel your collar if you happen to live in Airstrip One. But if your sole purpose is to insult non-celebs (i.e. Tom Winnifrith, rather than Tom Daley) you can tweet pretty much what you please.
And so it should be. I support free speech to the hilt. Some of the interventions by the Old Bill are disgraceful, a matter I have highlighted here before.
But free speech does not mean that I have to read what folks tweet.

Mistakenly I replied to a Jew hater on twitter today who was accusing the Israelis of “carpet bombing” Gaza. At once I was accused of not caring, supporting murder etc. by a collection of folk who just cannot see the facts.
Fact 1. Israel is not the aggressor. It bombs Gaza to take out rocket launchers which rain death down on Israel.
Fact 2. Those firing the rockets do not care who they kill. The rockets land randomly and could kill men, women or children. These rockets are not targeted at military sites just at Jews.
Fact 3. Israel only bombs Gaza when it is seeking to take out rockets not just to kill Arabs. Unlike Hamas it is specifically targeting military sites, i.e. rockets.

I should not have risen to the bait and commented on the video which tried to smear the entire Israeli state and people as racist. I was goaded into it on twitter and responded with a detailed critique showing why and how the video was at best crap journalism and at worst crude propaganda.

What happened then? I have now received a stream of abuse and hostile comments on twitter. Not one of the folks care to answer questions about why Israel HAS to observe higher standards than the EU on illegal immigrants if it is not to be racist. Not one cares to comment on the Falashas. Not one cares to comment on the Israeli Supreme Court banning camps which are deemed kosher across the EU and in Australia. No one. There is not one answer on those matters.
Instead there are comments of two types.
There is abuse. One Russian Jew hater says I should compare the actions of the Israelis to Sudanese people with those of the Nazis to the Jews. Anyone who makes that sort of comment is patently a Jew hating bigot beneath contempt.
Others choose not to discuss the FACTS as outlined in full but just hit back with other questions. Surely Israel is racist because it does not:
